Le Bandiere della Romania
Lavori su carta, 10 pezzi di cm 80 x 100, in 31,4 x 39,3 ciascuno. Smalto su carta velina.
Nel 1989 ho realizzato alcune “carte” con il tema della bandiera della Romania senza il simbolo del regime. Durante la rivoluzione infatti i
protestanti avevano fatto un buco dove c’era il simbolo.
Mi è venuto in mente quando da bambini si ritagliava la carta piegata per dar forma a delle sagome. Inoltre la bandiera della Romania ha i
tre colori primari, giallo rosso e blu.

The Flags of Romania
Works on paper, 10 pieces of 80 x 100 cm, in 31.4 x 39.3 eachEnamel on tissue paper.
In 1989 I made some works on paper with the theme of the Romanian flag without the symbol of the regime. During the revolution in fact the
protesters had made a hole where the symbol was.
It came to mind when as children we cut out folded paper to give shape to silhouettes. Also the Romanian flag has the three primary colors,
yellow, red and blue.
